ProCRYL MMA Cove

ProCryl MMA Cove is a 100% reactive methyl methacrylate (MMA) paste-grade resin specifically formulated for cove base mortars and vertical surface applications. Engineered with thixotropic fillers, it offers excellent workability on vertical substrates without sagging. This system cures rapidly—even at sub-freezing temperatures—achieving full strength in under one hour when activated with ProCryl MMA Initiator or ProCryl LTC for low-temperature installations. It is VOC compliant and suitable for environments where fast turnaround and wide temperature tolerance are critical. ProCryl MMA Cove is supplied clear but can be tinted using ProREZ Universal Colorants, with a standard ratio of 1 quart pigment per 5 gallons of resin. Proper substrate preparation, including achieving a CSP 4–5 profile and ensuring moisture levels below ASTM-specified limits, is essential for optimal performance.
