ProKRETE CM Resin is used in the CM (Cove & Mortar) system, designed for vertical and high-build edge work in urethane cement installations. It provides excellent workability for hand troweling and cures to a durable, thermal shock-resistant finish. Combined with CM Hardener and Aggregate, the system is ideal for forming radius cove bases and ramp transitions in food plants, freezers, and chemical containment zones.

PACKAGING

Pre-measured kits: 1 unit of PART A Resin,  1 unit of PART B Hardener, and 1 bag PART C Blended Aggregate bags. PART A – 3 lbs PART B – 3 lbs PART C – 2X 32 lbs

STORAGE

Materials should be stored indoors between 65°F (18°C) and 90°F (32°C). DO NOT ALLOW TO FREEZE.

SHELF LIFE

  •  Unopened containers - 1 year from date  of manufacture. 
  •  Cement based aggregates should be stored in a dry environment for maximum shelf life.

LIMITATIONS

SURFACE PREPARATION

This product requires preparation in order  to perform as expected. Substrate must be  mechanically profiled (ASTM 4259-83), clean,  sound, and dry.

COVERAGE RATES

A kit of ProKrete CM will yield approximately 0.28 cu ft. per unit at 1/8" in thickness. It will also cover approximately 14 s.f. at 1/4" and 50 s.f. at 1/16" in thickness.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

Add Resin (A) & Hardener (B) to a mixing vessel,  mix with slow speed drill if mixing in mortar  mixer or allow to mix in “Ted Baugh” type mixer  for approximate 30-45 seconds. Slowly add 1  bag of Aggregate Filler (C) mixing for another  60 seconds and ensuring a homogeneous mix is  attained. Apply mortar immediately- spreading  the material over the primed surface. The  material should be applied “wet on wet” for best  results using a screed bar and or trowels.
